Welcome to Sydney Care, the mobile service (“Application”) operated by CareMarket, Inc. (“CareMarket, Inc.,” “we” or “us”) with the help of K Health Inc. (“KHealth”) and [Health Management Corporation] doing business as LiveHealth Online (“LiveHealth Online”).

The Symptom Checker and Virtual Visit by data communications are provided by KHealth.  The Virtual Visit by video functionality is provided by LiveHealth Online.

By using the Sydney Care Application and its features, you are hereby agreeing to this Privacy Policy, as well as the privacy policies and, where applicable, HIPAA Notices of Privacy Practices, of KHealth and LiveHealth Online.  You also consent to CareMarket’s access, use and disclosure of protected health information as permitted by law and the applicable HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices. The HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices apply where SydneyCare is being offered as a part of your health insurance and/or employer group health plan in the United States.  Sydney Care, KHealth, and LiveHealth Online may each collect, use, and share different information about you.

The Symptom Checker and Virtual Visit functionality within this mobile application are designed to maintain medial information to make information available to you and your health care providers for purposes including diagnosis, treatment and management.

The Daily Covid-19 Check-In feature provides you with a contact-free process to determine if you exhibit any Covid-19 related risk factors that may affect your ability to report to your participating employer or workplace ("Workplace") for work on a given day. Through a series of questions, you can determine your status and provide you with a pass that you can show to your Workplace to indicate the results of your daily self-assessment. The Daily Covid-19 Check-In is only available to individuals associated with participating companies.

Sydney Care is available to US residents only.


We are committed to safeguarding the Personal Information we receive from our customers and partners. We impose standards to maintain the confidentiality of Personal Information. And we use physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect it. ‍

Personal Information is information that can be connected to you through certain identifiers which can include: name, Social Security number (SSN), demographic and geographic information such as city, county, state and zip code, latitude and longitude, IP address, driver’s license, state identification card, employer, health plan identification number, medical information, account, credit/debit card, passport or alien registration numbers — among other items. Personal Information does NOT include publicly available information that is lawfully made available to the general public from federal, state or local government records or widely distributed media.

Our policies prohibit the unlawful disclosure of Personal Information. We share it externally only where federal and state law allows or requires it. Internally, it’s our policy to limit the access, use and disclosure of Personal Information to be in line with the job duties our associates, as well as applicable law.

Personal Information may be collected from you directly and/or may be disclosed to us from third parties such as apps and websites that you link to Sydney Care from. To the extent that we receive protected health information about you from K Health or LiveHealth Online, such data will be disclosed pursuant to our partners’ Privacy Policy and HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices and then governed by this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

How will information be used?

Any Personal Information that you provide is used for the purposes of providing our Application and related services to you. If you use the Daily Covid-19 Check-In through a participating Workplace, we will also disclose your status and your underlying assessment responses to your Workplace to inform workplace and health care strategies in response to Covid-19.

Your information will be used for the following activities to the extent permitted or required by law:

We may offer opportunities to provide tailored or customized services through our Application and partners upon your consent.

If you elect to establish an account we will retain your user ID and password in order to recognize you when you next log in.  Establishing a user account and providing Personal Information is always voluntary, however providing Personal Information through this Application is necessary for you to use its features.  If you do not wish to have your Personal Information collected you should not use the Application.  PLEASE NOTE:  If you use the Application without logging in, any Personal Information you enter into the Application may be accessible to anyone else who has access to your mobile device.  We recommend that you log in every time you want to use the Application. Remember, if you have accessed the Application through single sign on or otherwise from another application that shares your Personal Information with us, we may collect your personal information, even if you do not create a separate account in this Application. 

We may also gather quantitative user information, such as the number of users and the pages or data accessed, in order to perform administrative, technical, hosting or other functions that help us manage our Application and deliver new functionality to you. We do not sell, license, transmit or disclose Personal Information that you provide to us to third parties except with the following exceptions:

Third parties

We may work with third party service providers who may place third party persistent cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies to collect anonymous information about the use of our Applications. They are not permitted to collect any Personal Information, and this information will be solely used for web usage analysis for a better understanding of how you use our Application, and/or to customize our content and advertising.

What if I don’t want information about me to be collected?

Providing Personal Information through this Application is necessary for you to use its features. If you do not wish to have your Personal Information collected, you should not use the Application.

Your use of the K Health text chat requires that you agree to the use and disclosure of your health information maintained in Sydney Care, including your answers to the health questions in the Symptom Checker and the results it provides. Such data will be used, maintained and disclosed in a manner consistent with our Privacy Policy, including making it available to healthcare providers that you may interact with via the Application. You will be prompted to provide your consent at the appropriate point in the Application experience.‍

“Do Not Track” Signals

We do not respond to web browser “do not track” signals. As such, your navigation of our Application may be tracked as part of the gathering of quantitative user information described above. If you arrive at our Application by way of a link from a third party application that does respond to “do not track” requests, the recognition of any “do not track” request you have initiated will end as soon as you reach our Application.

Communicating With Us

We may email, send push notifications and/or text information to further facilitate communication. Information collected through email or text may be shared with our Customer Service department, other associates, or third parties that perform services on our behalf. Unless otherwise noted, communication with us through our Application is not a completely secure and confidential means of communication. Non-encrypted email may be accessed and viewed by other Internet users without your knowledge and permission while in transit to us. Push notifications and/or texts may be accessible by anyone with access to your phone. Please do your part by using discretion and taking steps to secure your personal devices.

From time to time we will provide links to websites or applications not owned or controlled by us. We do this because we think the information might be of interest or use to you. A link to a third party website or application does not necessarily constitute or imply endorsement by us. We cannot guarantee the quality or accuracy of information presented on third party websites or applications. While we do our best to ensure your privacy, we cannot be responsible for the privacy practices of third party websites or applications.
